Koalas are primarily in the blue gum woodlands of eastern Australia, enjoying a climate that remains relatively moderate. These charming marsupials pass much of their day reposing in the trees, eating almost exclusively gum leaves, which are poor in nutrients and require a significant amount of effort to break down.
